Oof. Summer. :( It's been 105 here much of the summer so far, though it has cooled down a bit here recently.

Wild Frenzy + Crusader + Accursed. :D Neat! Spiny Veil though... eee. :D I didn't think of that one when I made Wild Frenzy, but it is kind of a perfect fit. :) Throwing in Alluring Gaze since you already have Cunning is a good idea too :D

:D Ghosts like that second one are why I'm glad I took measures to limit how ugly ghosts can be. Despite the fact they did die on that floor, a ghost with those demons actually at their original levels would be horrifying. :)

Congrats on your success so far, and thanks for the report. :D I'm glad you found an especially interesting build to try :D

Seems like you got a solid party put toghether. All that is left is to develop your normal Raiju and Lilim fully - they still have free slots. There's also the fact that you have 4 Ice weaknesses, so you can't field a full party without putting an Ice weakness out there.
Considering that Wraith's position is based on IT'S level, not the level it died at, my guess about that Wraith is that he ran ahead into the Tower without fully clearing out the floors. I belive Akateko joins you for the link, so the the lower level didn't hurt as much. It's also to terribly out of depth, I think. Shoggoht is negotiations recruited. Oni and Archagel could be Offering recruited. Then again, Oni can potentially be encountered really early, and maybe Archangel too. (I haven't encountered it, but I heard that Onis have a very low chance of spawning in Rush's Sanctum)

Guilt sustain doesn't work so well against holy enemies.

I don't remember what happened from T:11 to T:14, it was month ago and I didn't take notes. But I did deleted lilim and raiju (or raiju died. Who knows). Got a power in baphomet sanctum via bronze offering, beefed him up with tormentor + needle spray, which is little awesome thing. Also recruited Baphomet, and, well...

He decided to be a huge jerk about it and drain all my HP and most of my MaxHP.
Also met Adria. She ate some glyphs, then died.

On tower:15 I have a few close calls with enemy groups, but genrally pull through with little help from items. Also lure in Bigfoot with escort of 2 unicorns. Thinking whether to recruit him or nah, we kill two unicorns, but then power perforates bigfoot to death.

T:16: I get an unicorn and a shoggoth, copy healing factor to power, then ditch shoggoth. Also, baphomet dies to shoggoth duo and my own charmed ehlose. He wasn't very useful the whole time I had him, so not a big deal. Also copy needle spray instead of glacial shell, because it's just so convenient. No dismissing my allies because they once again stepped into wild frenzy, just point and spray.

In Tlaloc's sanctum I recruit Tlaloc.

Of course, he is a jerk about it. Now, since his escort was very much alive and could kill me no problemo if I did a mistake, I used a zephyr card to summon a power, then used him as a meatshield. This worked to an extent.
Then I ran up to a power\archangel\angel group, got to their faces, started spamming needle spray, got stunned (one of archangels had modifier), then finished off in one turn. Don't spam, kids.

Demanding gods are very demanding. :D If I'm going to let you recruit a unique without an actual fight, I have to make it mean somehow. :D

Sorry you got killed by speeding in the Tower. :D Still a good run by the sound of it though. :) Thanks for the report!

(yeah, name turned out to be very relevant, even though I started the char way too long ago)

This time I'm going for... I'm not really sure myself. Status applier + SP battery + something something else? Of course, with such a quality build I've managed to run into plenty a problem, mostly because I love my enemy lure and can't stop spamming it everywhere I can. First two times it nearly cost me this short run, though second time I nabbed a pink whisper, and third nailed me a needle spray will 'o wisp! Actually, such luck is what prompted me to post a report before entering anomaly. I don't know what will happen, but...

Anyway, on T:4 I lured in a Caprice!

He was a very close call. I'm not really sure how I survived this, actually. There was some Enduring from headless, I used pure stones to heal myself? And put an alley lubber up for sacrifice so I wouldn't have to spend a turn dismissing him. Of course, the part with sacrifice didn't work, because enemy hammered me instead. Still, he managed to die, but he was basic, so it wasn't a big loss. I replaced him with kitsune, who proceeded to do surprisingly little.

In Rush's Sanctum, I lured in another summoner.

Little red numbers can tell you that I wasn't doing so great here, either. But! I managed to lose nobody here, and nabbed a gremlin in probably the easiest chase ever. He was sleeping for 10+ turns (his summoner being dead), and I needed to "chase" him for 10 turns. You can see where this is going. He had pink whisper, which I gladly copied.

Third summoner, for a change of pace, instead of wrecking me, got wrecked himself. Then I claimed will 'o wisp in second easiest chase ever (11 turns of sleep vs. 15 turns of chase).

Oh, and there was a random cursed easg saint somewhere, with piercing cry. I copied piercing cry, then fused him to kasha... only for her to gain another piercing cry! But, since it'd share a presence cooldown with pink whisper, I had to delete it.

Well, that's it for now.

Sounds like you've been having fun ghost hunting. :D I'm glad you find them fun to fight... there were definitely concerns they'd turn out like DCSS' ghosts, which can sometimes end up brokenly OP (I will never forget an encounter I had during a tournament with a Lightning Bolt spewing ghost on D:*3*!), but I don't know that I've ever had a single non-bug report of a ghost that even in the player's view felt unfair to fight, much less in my view. :D

My only regret is that the new build will force me to sideline all the current ghosts... there are so many right now. :( Matter build's changes are too big for them to survive though (and I have, repeatedly, thanked all the gods I never promised to preserve ghosts from build to build during development, trying to do that here would be another giant task everyone would thrash about waiting for me to finish :P )

But there will be plenty of new ghosts, at least on the lower levels, soon after release. :P I secretly suspect Demon's player base has actually grown significantly in the last several months, but some people're just waiting for the new build. (I suspect this because, usually, Demon's games/day drops pretty low if I haven't released a build for even 2 months, much less 6... and yet, it's actually slowly been *increasing* over the past 6 months. I'm pretty excited to see what the numbers are like once I finally do release the build!)

Sorry the new build's taking so long, but we're getting close. :D Thanks for the report, and good hunting. :D

At this very moment I know I've, pardon my french, fucked up. Yeah I didn't have calm, which is partly my mistake, since, y'know, there was no rush because there's no charm around here... And then I used mirror chime.

I wonder if it counts as a kill by my wraith... Well, either way, until matter build comes out, there'll be this nice result of my mistake, on A:2, the dreaded pinata full of skills.

First off, you win the sleepy ferret prize. :P I was briefly *very* confused how you had Titania in your party when I know I hadn't put her in the game yet. (She has been slated for entry for some time now as part of the eventual "Faerie Forest" themed side branch. :D )

The dreaded "chain Charm with an ally assist" has felled summoners before. :) Not sure I've seen it happen from a mirror chime, but my memory of the last time I heard a report of it is fuzzy.

Unfortunately, mirror chime wraiths aren't "real": you're the only one who runs into them, so they don't get tracked by the server. No kill credit there. :D

Anyway, I've no idea where I'm going with this. Basically, grabbing every skill that looks good to me, so everyone's skillset is a bit of mess right now, and leading with heavy physical offense backed by 1 (one) fairy. I had an ogre too, barely managed to recruit him on T:2 after getting respective buruburu and spending chakra gem for free turn. Then, on T:5 I deleted him because I needed space.

The skills are quite nice: accursed helps with dealing damage to groups, tormentor, my favorite, handles SP problems well (even though it doesn't proc 2-4 times with shocking spear anymore), and wild combo is here because I thought it was wild frenzy :? . Lucky aid is memorable because it failed the one time I needed it to succeed, when I was both low on HP and suffering from nasty melt\ignite combo, it procced +50 SP. Thanks a bunch! Crush is never used because I have absolutely no way to harden\stone enemies :( .

Arachne is... weird. No resists and one weakness is not that good with her low HP, and her entire matterial side got ignored by me because I wanted mending. And mending I got, so I can't complain.

I've only had one death so far: will o' wisp died to asrais because I thought mending him would be good enough to pull him from 1 hp to safety zone. It wasn't, and I had to pay 2k credits for my mistake. Going into anomaly tomorrow; hope I won't get stoned by glitches :| .

PS: oh, and there was this nice lv. 1 wraith with lone freybug. On T:5. Yeah. Another of his wraiths, at T:3 (they had the same name), had a stable and overall was more dangerous, even making me spend a heal stone!

Message log UI is pretty bad at the moment. Improving it has been on the list for ages, but never seems to come up on the priority list. I'll see if I can take care of it in the relatively near future.

Poor Wild Combo. :P I think it still has its uses w/ Pariah and Guilt, but it seems doomed to be the "I wish it was Wild Frenzy" ability. :D

Lucky Aid is probably the most evil thing I've ever made. :P It has three of the strongest healing effects available on an ability, 0 SP, and a short cooldown, and still manages to be balanced because the RNG is a jerk at all the wrong times. :D
