Confirmed fix on the SP Tax Brands: Wiz's save file now works on in my editor.

SP Tax Brands (and all other SP modifiers, for that matter) no longer apply to abilities you didn't actually learn (i.e. the 8 shown on your main character sheet.)

Confirmed: Summer, your save file also works properly with my fix (and there are indeed demons using Flat SP Tax Brands infesting your level, so it makes sense you'd have had problems too.)

EDIT: Lemme check out this healing spam bug of Wiz's real quick and see if we can get to a new test build, in no small part because I am hungry and want food :D

Huh... not just the Gandayah. The Red Cap's using Stellar Nova now and then too. How odd.

Oh, derp: Hmm... I see. This is a tricky one! Your Goblin has a brand that is "Last Used: Movement"... and changes his Vitality. So each time he moves... his VIT and MaxHP go up. Each time he unmoves... his VIT and MaxHP go down.

This changing is causing his HP to sometimes become one lower than his MaxHP, which is what triggers the healing. Interesting.

I'm going to go ahead and make new builds now: Fixing the healing / Brands that affect Vitality and toggle out of combat thing is going to be a bit more involved, and is also a much rarer and much less severe bug, I don't want to not release a crash/lock fix while I poke at it.

Are these brands semi-randomly generated or something?
Because Sh-Po-Fo has got to be the worst thing I've ever seen
5+ slash abilities required to get... +5 Cunning and Magic :lol:

Yeah, they're basically Path of Exile-style loot. There are some basic restrictions in place to prevent Total nonsense, but semi-nonsense like Sh-Po-Fo is allowed. Hey, you never know... if you had 5 of the Light/Dark status effect Slash abilities and some self-healing... most of why the bonuses are low is because it's only a Level 2 Brand. :D
