Tried something new! needles!

This was going so well too... Hadn't lost any demon till i hit anomaly, then it all went downhill when i found a wraith that gave the ice shield thingy to all their demons... it kinda hurt more on the ogre tho, it had dive so it made my escape impossible...

This was the game where i felt more like i didn't have enough skill slots :P guess there was just too much stuff that would help it, between 3 active needles, an accuracy buff and some body passives, didn't have any room for anything else

Anyway, i'm gonna try the builds i've used so far and was mildly successful with again, i won't post anymore untill i get farther up or till i try something different, i've kinda been posting to many early deaths, don't think those are too interesting for anybody.

(Seriously, I read pretty much all of these. :D That said, you don't *have* to post them or anything else... but don't get the idea nobody finds them interesting, I pretty much do by default. :D )

Fused my first unique >.> i hadn't done that before because i'm really stingy about it (no pun intended) as its really expensive to copy all the important skills then fuse to make it work... it cost me 4k to make this... wich admitedly, is just a clone of myself with worse stats:

Also got my first tier 2 demon, but didn't get to fuse it... it was a Raiju!

And finally, i hope the new command feature allows you to make your allies stop moving... because they managed to fuck this up!

Well, I looked throught several sources and didn't find a way to put spoiler anywhere. I found some BBCode guides, but they didn't work on this forum.
To me, it seems like you have too many actives. I think it would be better if you would replace one of your more expensive needles with Bloodrot, Tormentor, Vigorous or even Tireless, You could remove Intent if you had demon who can use ACC up, EVD down or Chill. If I remember right, Paralized and Paniced demons are less evasive in addition. Stuned, Shocked and Asleep demons will always get hit. I'm guessing that early on you would want something like 1 expensive needle, 3 Status effect passives, 1 more status effect or the basic needle, 2 SP recovery abbilities (probablly Tormentor and Bloodlust) and Dash. Then again, this is just a guess, and I've never done a Needles build.
I'm not sure how you would run away from a dive. my best guess is wait until he dives, summon a demon to distract gim and run as fast as you can. It might be worth it to focus on diving demons more in case you'll have to run away.
When dealing with Eloko or any other demon that can Charm, you want to have a demon with Calm summoned and do your best to stay out of Charm range, only going into it, carefully, if it's also your effective range. Preferably, the Calmer is Mind resistant/immune. (That might actually be not enough - I had a game where both my Calmer and I got Charmed at the same time. We both had Mind resistance.)
I belive those hands are called Akateko. They will prefer to use Lifesteal Touch if either they are wounded or the demon within range resist Dark. So the best strategies are: kill them quickly,keep as many of them as you can wounded (This one has gone really poorly for me in the past), have a Dark resistant non-Body weak demon out.
Well, technically, that Centaur has more Str and Agi then you. :) And it's still about twice as many status effects being thrown.
I've read something about Ferret thinking of making "Chase" link demon be able to swap places with your alies, if their link is active. Not sure if he has done so already.

Don't worry about the post size. :D Unfortunately, I'm pretty newb at forum administration. :P I focused most of my efforts on keeping out spam accounts (hence the fun little quiz about Demon's character creation process you had to take when you signed up, among other more subtle measures)

And yeaaah... you're not really supposed to be able to do that with Chase captureables anyway. :P Saler remembers correctly: I plan to give chase captureables the ability to swap with your demons at some point, but haven't done it yet (in part because cross-faction swapping was something I originally armored against and now have to work around for this one case, bleh :P )

Talk about stupid... i didn't notice my HP draining at all....

I was distracted i guess, one turn i think i have everything under control, next i'm dead... i really tought i wasn't losing hp xd

Anyway, saw a lot of tier 2 modifiers, that was cool, but didn't get to use them that much.

I also recruited a Raiju when i was lvl 6 but managed to get it killed ._.

I understand why you want to change this, these links may be cheesy at times, but wouldn't that remove the strategy of cornering enemies and make it all about speed? Seems like its dumbing it down if its all about movement speed.

I'm pretty sure ALL of us have died to not paying attention some time or other. :) I had the fortune to see Mummies nasty ability before they actually got added into the game.
I think you made a small mistake with your ability choice. Your primary attack, Slash Dance, has an above 1 cooldown on it, so you can't use it every turn. You also should've gotten Spin Slash or Ghost Pierce. It also looks like you ran out of SP, so an ability tike Bloodlust or Tormentor might've been desirable as well. Honestly, I forgot that all of Dodge build's primary attacks cost 15 SP. My bad.
It's honestly difficult to use Tier 2 modifiers well. By that point, most of your demon probably already have been modified. And for a good fusion, you have to find a demon with the right modifier that you can recruit. Which, by this point, it begining to get difficult. You also probably have a full party, so you need to save the Credits for the fusion before finding that needed demon. And you probably have been using those credits for Copy and Restore.
Raiju is definetly one of those demons whose condition you have to keep an eye on. It deals a lot of damge quickly and can Shock, but he doesn't have a lot of HP.
Chase links can actually be traped in room corners. Basicaly, you want to chase the demon into a corner and then keep your distance so that the demon is close to the edge of your line of sight. If it attempts to flee, running alongside the wall, you need to move diagonally towards the area it's going to. NOT towards it directaly.
It seems like you've learned how to build a good team. Good job recruiting Anzu! :) He is one of the harder demon to recruit, in my oppinion. It looks like you lacked 100% reliable healing and had no Rots on your Druj Nasu, but I'm guessing it wasn't by choice. and that healing probably was good enough for the most part. That Holy Atua looks like it would have SP problems, however.

Anzu wasn't that hard to recruit...

Python tho... how the hell am i suposed to recruit it? i have a hard time just surviving it, most of the time i end up ditching the fight altogether, not only is it tanky, deals alot of physical damage, but also has elementals covering it, i can't deal with the elementals while Python keeps hitting me!

Also, i did have ghost pierce, thats the one of the first abilities i got from my starter demon, but i ended up having to remove it. The 2 useful abilities i removed from myself were mind reader, swiftness and ghost pierce. No SP problems tho, never had a problem with it as i used the basic hit when spin slash was on cooldown, it worked well, Spin slash was definitely useful with bloodlust and crusader, as it helped me recover a lot of hp whenever i got hit, it also never backfires when i'm panicked, so it feels like a much better choice than the other options i had avaiable to me.

I had no healers because they... well... they died >.> Maybe i should have restored them, but thats just too expensive so i never used it. doesnt feel worth it to bring back a lower level demon (because my healers allways end up lagging behind in levels, because i invest a lot in them, i feel like i can't just fuse them away) instead of powering up a new, more recent one.

Also, i know about the chase strategy, as that was how i recruited the first raiju, its just that i assumed if demons don't care about your party they they would move towards you to pass you by and get out of the corner, but i supose their AI wouldn't change, so that strategy would still work
