Anyone else ever make stupid mistakes?

Just wanna know if I'm alone in this one, Mine for the day was forgetting I didn't have Instant dismiss/summon on the current run and haunting next to a pack of demons with my tank summoned on the other side of the room, cost me a couple of consumables.

Well, for some reason I always link with Reprobus, even though I ALWAYS die in the process. I think I only finished the link twice, and I have more than five deaths at floor 12/13 thanks to him. People often complain about Artemis, but I strongly believe that Reprobus is the hardest link currently in the game.

I actually find Artemis really easy as long as you have a lifegiver healer/ someone with vamp of some sort to stay healthy through the first stage

I only make smart mistakes, like accidentally applying pariah to Headless before linking with him.

I have probably forgotten about the calm and zephyr cards more often than good.

I would say my stupid mistake is never using my items unless its a offering cup. Which frustrates me because on many occasions when I am doing a run, I would die to something that could have easily been avoided had I used my items. So I end up with like 30+ items of different variations that never get used.
