Very quick suggestion - would it be possible to get a key that expands the log? As a new player it would help me understand what my creatures are doing in battle, i.e. what moves they are prioritizing first, etc. It doesn't even need to be feature-complete or anything, I don't need scrolling or fancy stuff, but if it increased to the size of the screen while the key was held that would be cool I think.

Hey biomatter, and welcome to the forum. I keep meaning to do something to give better access to the message log... I just keep doing other things instead. Let me see what I can sneak into the next build. It will probably be fairly minor/rough, but enough to get by on hopefully until I can spend more time on it.

Full disclosure: the next build is kind of a big one, so it may be a bit on that next build. No ETA yet, but I'm working on it daily.
