SP alteration as a part of modifiers

Modifiers can adjust speed and resistances, but what about also letting them increase/decrease max SP? I imagine that this would be much easier to balance with the HP bonus/penalty than it is to balance it for speed and resistances.

I could see doing some small adjustments (-/+ 20-25 at most) this way, maybe. I've thought about it before, for individual demons too. Might be another way to slip melee some survivability, since they rarely use high SP anyway, even with the Tier 3 abilities.
