Oof. Fixed, but it was a pain in the neck, as is usually the case where the bug is one where the AI is *technically* behaving correctly, but is doing something that looks ugly to a human.
The AI was set up such that it doesn't place value... for better or worse... on re-applying status effects if the duration of the existing effect is very close to the new duration after re-applying. Thus, I'm imagining that in the scenario this happened, the new Ignite effects were about the same duration as the old ones, so hitting your allies with them had no negative value and seemed like an okay thing to do if it meant hitting an enemy instead.
Technically correct. Something a player might even do (especially now that I have icons you can mouseover to get durations of status effects
)... but, it does look pretty ugly when the AI does it, so it had to go.
