Funny enough, the code for dying and the code for invoking the quit-monster are largely shared :P The only difference really is the messaging, which is determined by whether or not you had HP left when it got started. What the "You quit.." message here tells me is that Eternal Glory did trigger, but somehow death still occurred anyway. :P
